首届全国优秀外国文学图书奖(1980—1990)于1991年11月揭晓,39家出版社的96种图书联袂获奖,在出版界、文学界和翻译界引起不小的反响。人们对这次评奖普遍给予关注和好评,不仅在于它彰奖了一批确属优秀的外国文学图书,而且在于它以点带面地反映了十年来外国文学出版工作长足发展的盛景。从这次评奖总结成就、展示成果的整体效果来看,说它是十年来外国文学出版工作的一个缩影并不为过。
The first Outstanding Foreign Literary Book Award (1980-1990) was unveiled in November 1991 and the winning of 96 books by 39 publishing houses attracted notable repercussions in the publishing, literary and translating fields. People generally pay close attention and praise to this award not only because it recognizes a number of outstanding foreign literary books, but also reflects the grand occasion of the rapid development of foreign literature publishing over the past decade with a point of view. Judging from the overall achievements of the awards and the overall achievements of the exhibition, it is not an overstatement to say that it is a microcosm of foreign literary publishing in the past decade.
