贵州省委宣传部一直高度重视都市类媒体坚持正确舆论导向问题,不断加强对都市类媒体的工作指导和沟通交流。2008年12月25日,按照省委宣传部主要领导意见,结合科学发展观学习实践活动,省委宣传部副部长周晓云领题召开了坚持正确舆论导向专题调研座谈会,组织贵州日报报业集团、省记协、贵州都市报、贵州商报、新报、新闻窗、贵阳日报、贵阳晚报等新闻单位的负责同志、编辑、记者代表和省委宣传部新闻阅评员代表,就都市类媒体如何坚持正确舆论导向工作进行交流座谈,总结经验、查找问题,提出改进工作的建议和措施。
