最大的成绳机西德杜伊斯堡的克虏伯钢铁公司为蒂森线材有限公司制造了一台目前世界上最大的成绳机。该机型号为KVR1+8×2400,可带8个直径为2400毫米的工字轮,机长80米,总重670吨;能生产重150吨的6股钢绳和重200吨的8股钢绳。最大的拉力试验机目前欧洲最大的拉力试验机已由西德的波鸿矿山工程研究院和运输工程材料研究所联合试车成功。该机最大拉力为2200吨,可检验断面20000毫米~2、长12米的钢绳,精度达±1%以上。
