靳羽西很出众,你第一眼见到她时,就会发出这样的赞叹。她喜欢笑,笑得灿如孩童。与你谈话时,又感到她的真诚,真诚里闪现出智慧的火花。这些年来,她分别以学者、作家、记者、电视人、社会活动家及企业家的身份奔忙于东西方之间。美国《国会记录》称她为“真正的平民大使”;《人物》杂志称她为“中国最有名的女人”;新华社的《环球》杂志选举她为“环球20位最具影响的世纪女性”,并且,把她列在第一位。今年7月,靳羽西又有了一个新头衔:联合国国际儿童教育基金会任命她为“联合国儿童大使”。8月1日,在中国北京,代表全球华人的靳羽西第一个承诺了尽其所能“支持儿童”。

In July of this year, Kan Yu-Sai has another new title: UN International Foundation for Children’s Education appointed her as ”United Nations Children’s Ambassador.“ On August 1, in Beijing, China, Kan Yue Sai, representing the world’s Chinese, first promised to do everything possible to ”support children."
