根据苏联《玉米与高粱》1987年3期介绍,美国卡尔基勒·利米杰德良种繁育公司育种专家育成了在美国生产条件下70—75天即可成熟的早熟矮秆玉米杂交种。其单产比生长期相同的普通高秆玉米杂交种高20—30%。近几年该杂交种在加拿大和美国许多地区试验成功。
According to the Soviet Union, “Corn and Sorghum,” 1987, 3 introduction, the United States Kargil Lemijde Breeding and Breeding Company breeding experts bred in the United States under the conditions of 70-75 days mature early dwarf corn hybrids. Its yield is 20-30% higher than that of common high-stalk corn hybrids with the same growth period. In recent years the hybrids have been successfully tested in many parts of Canada and the United States.
