近五年,是中国汽车工业突飞猛进的五年。国家的产业政策、行业规划、消费信货、合资合作等为我国汽车工业的发展输入了源源不断的动力。2002年,我国汽车产量突破300万辆大关。2003年,国家统计局再传喜讯,汽车制造业销售收入超过纺织业和电气机械及器材制造业,位居通讯设备、计算机及其他电子设备制造业、电力行业、黑色冶金行业和化工行业之后,首次成为我国工业第5大支柱产业。
