定于一九八三年十月在南京召开的第二次河流泥沙国际学术讨论会的各项筹备工作,正在积极进行。现将其进展情况简介如下:一、与国外的联系一九八二年八月十日由会议组织委员会向国外有关国际组织和专家、学者发出了邀请信及会议一号通知。联合国教科文组织水学司司长杜米列斯(S.Dumilrescu)又索取了会议一号通知,并分发给有关国家和国际组织。到一九八三年一月二十二日止,已有两个国际组织、二十九个国家的75位专家、学者回信并寄回会议有关登记表,表示肯定参加会议的已有44位。国际水力学协会主席肯尼迪(F.Kennedy)再次来信,应邀参加会议还提交了学术论文。
The preparatory work for the second international symposium on river sediment to be held in Nanjing in October 1983 is now under way. The progress is summarized as follows: I. Contact with Foreign Countries On August 10, 1982, the Organizing Committee of the Conference sent invitations to foreign relevant international organizations, experts and scholars and a notice on the conference. S.Dumilrescu, Director of the Division of Hydrology of UNESCO, also obtained a notice of meeting No. 1 and distributed it to relevant countries and international organizations. By January 22, 1983, 75 experts and scholars from two international organizations and 29 countries had already sent back and sent back the relevant registration forms, indicating that 44 participants have confirmed their attendance at the meeting . F. Kennedy, president of the International Hydraulics Society, wrote another letter, invited to attend the conference and submitted a scholarly paper.
