目的:探讨鼻咽癌(NPC) 血管生成及血小板聚集功能与NPC 侵袭转移关系,为在分子水平干预肿瘤血管形成,预防NPC复发和转移打下基础。方法:采用免疫组织化学S- P法检测了56 例NPC,20 例无瘤鼻咽部石蜡标本组织中的微血管密度( MVD) 及血管内皮细胞生长因子(VEGF) 表达。随访3 年,NPC复发转移17 例,无复发或转移39 例。结果:复发转移组的血小板聚集率MAR,MVD 及VEGF的表达较无复发转移的表达高,差异有统计学意义;MVD 及VEGF的表达与临床分期相关。结论:NPC 血管生成及血小板聚集功能亢进与癌浸润和转移行为密切相关,有可能作为判断肿瘤生物学行为及预后指标,对采用血管生成抑制剂及血小板聚集抑制剂防止NPC转移有参考价值。
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the relationship between angiogenesis and platelet aggregation and the invasion and metastasis of NPC in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), so as to lay a foundation for the intervention of tumor angiogenesis at the molecular level and the prevention of NPC recurrence and metastasis. Methods: The microvessel density (MVD) and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in 56 cases of NPC and 20 cases of non-tumorous nasopharyngeal paraffin specimens were detected by immunohistochemical S-P method. After 3 years of follow-up, NPC relapsed and metastasized in 17 cases without recurrence or metastasis in 39 cases. Results: The expressions of MAR, MVD and VEGF in recurrence and metastasis group were higher than those without recurrence and metastasis, the difference was statistically significant. The expression of MVD and VEGF was correlated with clinical stage. CONCLUSION: The angiogenesis of NPC and the hyperfunction of platelet aggregation are closely related to the invasion and metastasis of cancer. It is possible to judge the biological behavior and prognosis of tumor. It may be of reference value for preventing NPC metastasis by using angiogenesis inhibitor and platelet aggregation inhibitor.
