中华人民共和国文化部、北京市人民政府于2002年9月7日开始在中华人民共和国首都北京举办2002中国北京·国际城市雕塑艺术展。艺术展组委会盛情邀请来自40余个国家及中国(包括港、澳、台地区)的200多位雕塑艺术家汇聚北京,展现雕塑艺术的风采。通过这次国际城市雕塑盛会,为北京的城市节点以及2008年奥运会场馆留下一批具有国际水平的作品,提高城市雕塑在城市文化建设中的地位,使更广泛的人群了解城市雕塑、关注城市雕塑、支持城市睢塑的发展。本次雕塑艺术展以国内迄今为止规格最高、规模最大、形式最多样、内容最丰富的雕塑艺术盛会被载入史册。 9月8日在中央美术学院举行本次大展的专题学术研讨会。广州美术学院潘绍棠教授、谭天教授的论文经过评审,被选入论文集。潘绍棠教授在学术研讨会上宣读了论文。 当今,城市雕塑艺术已经成为城市规划和环境艺术设计的重要组成部分,由此选入本辑,借以丰富环艺设计,展示艺术设计的学术内容。
On September 7, 2002, the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China and the Beijing Municipal People’s Government held the 2002 Beijing International Sculpture Exhibition of Cities in Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China. The organizing committee of the Art Fair welcomes over 200 sculpture artists from more than 40 countries and China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions) to Beijing to showcase the artistic style of sculpture. Through this international urban sculpture event, a group of world-class works will be left for Beijing’s urban nodes and the 2008 Olympic venues to raise the status of urban sculpture in the construction of urban culture so as to enable the wider people to understand urban sculpture and focus on cities Sculpture, to support the development of urban plastic. The sculpture art exhibition to date the highest specifications, the largest, the most diverse forms, the most abundant art event was recorded in the annals of sculpture. September 8 at the Central Academy of Fine Arts held a special symposium on the exhibition. Nowadays, the urban sculpture art has become an important part of urban planning and environmental art design. Therefore, this series is selected to enrich the design of the art circle and display the academic content of art design.
