为量化煤炭产业对我国经济发展的影响,采用投入产出法理论模型建立了煤炭产业对国民经济影响的模型,分析并定量评价了煤炭产业单位增加值对国民经济增长带来的直接效果、后向波及效果、前向波及效果、消费波及效果及对劳动就业增长的效果.研究表明:煤炭产业的波及效应明显,通过产业关联的方式对国民经济发展起到了重大的推动作用,2007年煤炭产业每增加一个单位产值创造162.866 5个单位的国民生产总值.研究结论首次定量评价了煤炭行业对国民经济的贡献程度,为国家煤炭行业宏观管理部门制定煤炭产业政策提供了决策依据.
