American scientists say fasting every other day will allow you to live longer. They found that fasting every other day not only helps people lose weight, but also delays the onset of aging diseases, improves mental capacity and prolongs life expectancy. The experimental dietary approach pioneered by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) is based on the fact that in the case of intake of only the minimum calories needed to sustain life, animals
