洛江区是1997年6月泉州市区划调整时,在原鲤城区北郊农村乡镇基础上成立的新区。新区成立时,经济社会发展严重滞后,城市化水平低,农业和农村占95%以上,是一个典型的农业区。建区几年来,区委区政府在省、市党委、政府的正确领导下,树立和落实科学发展观,坚持发展第一要务,扎实推进工业化、城市化、农业产业化和社会事业发展。时至今日,洛江区走过了一段艰辛但令人鼓舞的发展历程,从2005年《政府工作报告》中可以发现,这里的发展是扎实的,变化是明显的,成效是显著的。笔者由衷感慨:“洛江在嬗变,岁月峥嵘现。” Luojiang District was the new district established on the basis of the rural towns and villages in the northern suburb of Licheng during the adjustment of Quanzhou in June 1997. When the new district was established, its economic and social development lagged behind seriously, its urbanization level was low, agriculture and rural areas accounted for more than 95%, and it was a typical agricultural area. In the past few years, under the correct leadership of provincial and municipal Party committees and governments, the district party committee and district government established and implemented the scientific concept of development, adhered to the top priority of development and steadily promoted industrialization, urbanization, industrialization of agriculture and social undertakings. Today, Luojiang District has gone through a difficult but encouraging development. From the 2005 “Report on the Work of the Government,” it can be found out that the development here is solid, the changes are obvious, and the results are remarkable. I sincerely feeling: “Luojiang in the evolution of years Zhengrong now.”
