张仃先生是广为人知,倍受敬佩的我国杰出的老艺术家、教育家。他从1932年开始从事美术创作活动,至今已有65个年头。在他的80寿诞将临之际,回顾他那不平凡的人生历程和卓越的艺术成就,值得我们晚辈无尚的尊崇。作为一个穷学生,他在15岁时进入北平美术专科学校学习中国画,在国难当头的年代,他就以漫画反侵略、反暴政、反独裁。积极投身抗日救亡的活动中。1938年奔赴延安、在鲁艺任教,同时从事工艺美术设计和漫画、宣传画、年画的创作活动。抗战胜利后在《东北画报》任总编辑。
Mr. Zhang Ding is a well-known and respected artist and educator in our country. He has been engaged in art creation activities since 1932 and has been 65 years old.
