地质组的主要工作有五大项: 1.三峡地区河谷地貌第四纪地质及新构造的研究,并着重美人沱至宜昌河段:共计有10多个题目。 2.长江水利枢纽地震问题:有3个研究题目。 3.南津关壩区喀斯特水文地质及工程地质条件的研究;拟定了6个题目。 4.三斗坪区地质和工程地质条件的研究:共有3个题目,每题还有许多小题目,如花岗岩风化壳的研究便包括:地貌、古河道、水文网、构造、岩性、岩石结构等问题。 5.水库淹没区地质、矿产及工程地质条件的研究:包括3个题目,每题也有许多小项。以上是与三峡水利枢纽有关的重要地质问题,至于有关长江流域水利建设的地质问题,壩建成后
