In order to understand the distribution characteristics of dwarfing genes in Indian wheat varieties and to clarify the effect of dwarfing genes on plant height and coleoptile length, we used 8 molecular markers of dwarfing genes in combination with gibberellin to detect 21 Indian The dwarf genes in wheat cultivars were used to evaluate the effects of various dwarf genes on plant height and coleoptile length in combination with the field plant height surveys and indoor coleoptile length measurements. The results showed that all of the 21 dwarfing genes were detected in 21 Indian wheat cultivars and all contained two or more dwarf genes, including 13 dwarfing genes and 4 dwarfing genes There are 3 copies. The distribution frequencies of dwarfing genes Rht 8 and Rht 4 were 66.7% and 61.9% respectively in the batch, and there were more materials containing Rht 5 and Rht-B1b accounting for 57.1% and 52.4% respectively. Materials containing Rht 12 and Rht 13 genes. Gibberellin treatment results show that the batch of materials sensitive to gibberellin 4 copies. Coi sheath length survey results show that most of the coleoptile sheath length longer than the Chinese spring, 13 of which coleoptile was significantly longer than the Chinese spring. Plant height survey results show that the batch materials were significantly lower than the Chinese Spring. The above results showed that the dwarfing genes in 21 Indian wheat cultivars had a strong effect of reducing plant height and had no adverse effect on the coleoptile of seedlings, which was suitable for the improved utilization of dry dwarf wheat.
