Earth Observation Satellite Corporation (EOSAT) is a commercial operator of land-based satellite systems that is dedicated to remote sensing from space. The ultimate goal of this business management is not only to market existing satellite data but also to introduce advanced technologies and new data to remote sensing users. Based on the comparative assessment of market analysis and early technical design, EOSAT has focused on SeaWiFS. The current plan is to prepare it for use on land satellite 6 and launched in 1990. The data collected with this instrument are suitable for scientists and national and non-governmental commercial and user users who have studied. More specifically, the instrument provides data on sea color and surface temperature. EOSAT therefore believes that these data will also be useful for land-based applications. The basic point of the remote sensor is to provide daily coverage (on the equator) with a resolution of 1km, six bands in the near infrared (VNIR) region and two bands in the long skin infrared (LNIR) region. In light of the results of these early efforts, EOSAT and NASA formed a working group on 2 February 1987 to determine the requirements of users of marine remote sensors, including scientists, researchers, commercial and user personnel, and system executives . The task of the working group is to develop the following comprehensive system requirements for the SeaWiFS mission: 1) scientific or research user requirements; 2) commercial and user requirements; 3) remote sensor specifications; 4) data downlink and data formats; 5 ) Output products; 6) mission instructions; 7) data transmission and data access procedures.
