集装箱码头(Container Terminal,CT)的操作效率主要受到码头边岸桥(Quay Crane,QC)装卸效率和码头堆场(Container Yard,CY)作业效率的影响,随着立体装卸(dual&double operation)、双20英尺箱吊具(twin spreader)和双40英尺吊具(tandem spreader)等新工艺的采用,岸边QC的操作效率得到很大提高,使码头操作效率提高的瓶颈逐渐集中到堆场作业上来,如何提高堆场作业效率已成为集装箱码头能否迅速发展的一个重要课题。中远希腊集装箱码头公司副总经理孙凯根据自己多年码头工作经验,首先分析了影响堆场作业的两大主要因素,进而给出通过优化堆场布局(layout of CY)、加强船舶计划员(ship planner)与堆场计划员(yard planner)之间沟通、根据历史作业数据提前安排堆场计划(yard plan)、强化中转箱(T/S container)堆场策划以及设立闸口缓冲区(Gate-in buffer area)等方法来提高堆场作业效率,这些方法在实际工作中取得了很好的效果。
