1清乾隆年间,我国著名地理学家徐松流放新疆。他来到今吉木萨尔县境一个叫作护堡子的地方,惊奇地发现了由大片断壁残垣组成的古城废墟。2古城中矗立着一座已断为两截的石碑,碑上刻有七行文字,其中明确地留下了“金满县令”四个大字,这就是著名的《唐金满县碑》。唐代金满县与庭州、北庭都护府、北庭大都护府、北庭节度使都同置一城,这一发现证实这座护堡子古城就是唐代北庭都护府故城遗址。
1 Qing Emperor Qianlong years, the famous geographer Xu Song exile in Xinjiang. In the ancient city, there is a stone monument that has been broken into two parts. There are seven lines engraved on the monument, and the four characters of “Jinman County Decree” are clearly left behind. This is the famous monument of Tang Dynasty. The Tang Dynasty Jin Manchu and Ting Zhou, North Court are guarding the government, Beitou Dadu Fu, North Court Jiedushi all with one city, this discovery confirmed that the castle fortress ancient city is the ancient capital of the North Court of the Tang Dynasty Ruins.
