仅存的完整森林生态系统对我们的地球有着极其重要的意义。森林是世界上2/3陆地植物和动物的家园。关注完整森林生态系统有三个原因,首先,只有森林面积足够大,才能支持大型动物的自然种群,并且可以抵抗诸如火灾、风暴等自然干扰。
The only remaining intact forest ecosystems are of vital importance to our planet. The forest is home to 2/3 of the world’s land plants and animals. There are three reasons for focusing on a complete forest ecosystem. First, only the forest area is large enough to support the natural populations of large animals and to resist natural disturbances such as fires and storms.
