在国外套管钻机(All casing boring machine)已有30多年历史,它的特点就是在成孔过程中同时以机械的手段下沉一个可以返还的(即可以重复使用的)钢质套管,成孔后,再以水下混凝土填充钻孔,同时逐步将钢质套管拔出,其工作程序如图1所示。套管施工法具有很多优点(参见“现代铁路桥梁基础、墩台施工机械及设备发展溉况”,《桥梁建设》1982年第1期),它在钻孔灌注桩的各类施工方法中是比较可靠的一种方法,因此,套管钻机在国外已得到很大发展。本文仅对套管钻机的发展现状作简要介绍,供读者
