自近代以来,每当中华民族遭到帝国主义列强凌辱,而陷入极度危机的时刻;每当国内阶级矛盾空前尖锐的时刻,富有爱国责任感的中国青年学生总是奋不顾身,振臂而出,反映民族的愿望,喊出时代的心声,高举鲜明的旗帜站在革命斗争的前列。在全国学生运动的巨大洪流中,厦门以侨办学校为主的学生们,也不断推出了层层激浪。在斗争风浪中,学生们创办的各种刊物,起了号角和战鼓的作用;更以其别具特色的办刊风格,充实了福建现代报刊早期的历史。 Since the modern times, every time the Chinese nation has been insulted by the imperialist powers and plunged into a moment of crisis, Chinese youth students with a sense of patriotism always shy away from each other when national conflicts in the country were unprecedented. Desire, shout the voice of the times, hold high the banner of standing in the forefront of the revolutionary struggle. Among the huge floods in the nationwide student movement, Xiamen-based students in overseas Chinese-run schools also introduced layers of surf. In the storm of struggle, the various publications run by the students played the role of a horn and a drum of war; more, with its distinctive style of running a journal, enriched the early history of the modern newspapers and periodicals in Fujian.
