多年来,在儿科进行静脉输液操作中,为了使患儿肢端(手部或脚部)得到固定,防止因患儿肢端(手部或脚部)的活动而致静脉穿刺针移动、液体外渗,通常是静脉穿刺后在肢端(手部或脚部)下面放一个夹板固定.一般情况下,夹板的外层需要放置布类或纸质外套,布类外套在患儿使用后,均需进行清洗和消毒处理,纸质外套需要一人一用一更换.
