1990年2月,一艘81 283载重吨的油轮“碎浪城”号“SURF CITY”满载着石脑油和柴油,离开科威特向南欧驶去。然而在48小时内,由于发生了爆炸,使得两人死亡,并造成了迄当时为止的最大的油船失火事故。
In February 1990, an 81 283 dwt tankers “Surf City ” “SURF CITY ” filled with naphtha and diesel, leaving Kuwait to sail to southern Europe. However, within 48 hours, two people died as a result of the explosion and caused the largest oil tanker fire accident so far.
