我国现行“森林覆盖率”不能准确地反映出当今林业生产的绿化成效,同时,参加计算的项目已超出了“森林”这一概念的外延。这样在生产与学术上应用起来很不方便。为此有必要建立一个新概念——绿化度,即指一个国家或地区绿化面积占总土地面积的百分数,它反映一个国家或地区的绿化现状或生态条件。“森林覆盖率”的计算也将作相应的调整,使之趋于合理。
The current “forest coverage rate” in our country can not accurately reflect the greening effect of forestry production. At the same time, the projects involved in the calculation have exceeded the concept of “forest”. This is very inconvenient in production and academic application. To this end, it is necessary to establish a new concept - greening degree, which refers to the percentage of greening area in a country or region in total land area, which reflects the status of greening or ecological conditions in a country or region. The calculation of “forest coverage” will also be adjusted accordingly to make it more reasonable.
