Israelis, in my opinion, enjoy life very much and recently found a distinctive apartment on the top floor of a new building to the north of Tel Aviv, Israel. Designer Pitsou Kedem’s innovative design blurs the boundaries between private and outdoor spaces, using a completely open structure that makes the building transparent on all sides. The transparent glass screen wraps the entire penthouse, and the interior of the apartment, suspended in the building’s exterior, is completely open to the city. Passageways or corridors to the room, designed in a traditional design language, are located close to the building shell. No rooms are connected to the enclosure, providing unobstructed views of the city.
