Scientific research methods to promote the role of foreign language teaching is self-evident. The “Methodology of Research in Foreign Language Teaching (Revised Edition)” explains profound theories in simple language to expound common scientific research theories and methods in foreign language teaching and exert a far-reaching influence both at home and abroad. This book shows the latest understanding and insights of Professor Liu Runqing’s research methods in foreign language teaching and has a good guidance on how to carry out fruitful scientific research in foreign language teaching. This article sub-section briefly introduces the main content of the book, and the advantages and disadvantages of the book were evaluated.
