When American psychologists study the problem of juvenile delinquency in their own country, they find that many of these children come from wealthy, proletarian families. The reason why they go astray is that it is too easy to get everything --- so that they do not have the concept of “boundaries”, what they should do, what they should not do, and they lack a sober sense in their minds. In this respect, the German children’s ability to reasonably reflect on things is very prominent among their peers in the world. A long-time observation and practice by a U.S. education worker living in Germany confirm this.
