阜南县有砂姜土九万六千一百四十亩,占耕地面积5.6%。由于砂姜土耕层浅、漏水跑肥、土質瘠薄,一般年亩产量只有一百至一百五十斤,是我县典型的低产土壤。現以三塔公社吳大庄生产四队和白果公社大温庄生产队为例,介紹他們改良利用砂姜土的經驗。一、合理布局作物,实行輪作換茬:他們的作物布局是,秋种占耕地面积60—65%,其中麦豆混种占50%左右。春种以高粱为主,占耕地面积20—25%。夏种以黄豆、山芋为主,黄豆占夏种面积50%左右,山芋占40—45%,另有5—10%种芝麻。这样布局正与砂姜土旱、薄特点相适应。高粱耐旱
