巫山位于四川盆地东缘,地处长江三峡腹地,总面积2971平方公里。北部大巴山呈东西走向,巫山山脉呈南北走向,成为川、鄂、渝三省的地理边界。境内一般海拔800～1500米,最高的是官阳太平山,高2680米;最低是培石江边,水位仅73.1米。庙宇镇位于巫山县西南,长江南岸,距巫山县城70余公里。别看镇小,它可是地处两省市(重庆、湖北)、三县(巫山、奉节、建始)的重镇。庙宇镇的自然条件不算太好,无霜期只有250天,年平均气温14℃,年平均降雨量1000毫米以上。不过这样的环境正好适合核桃生长,现在这里已成了有名的“核桃之乡”。 Wushan is located in the eastern edge of Sichuan Basin, is located in the hinterland of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, with a total area of ​​2971 square kilometers.
