通麦6号是我所用73-132(二棱大麦)×72-20-14(2)(二棱元麦)杂交选育成的抗病、优质元麦新品种。在1977年夏获得F_1代杂交种后,1978年F_2代选留了二棱元麦68株,1979年F_3代根据抗病性、穗粒性状及后期熟相继续选取二棱元麦114株,1980年从114个株行中选留了6个株行,1981年选择了熟期相同、粒重高、皮色白、综合性状好的三个株系併系繁殖。1982年秋播参加本所鉴定试验,1983年秋播参加南通市元麦品种比较试验。1984、1985年秋播参加江苏省元麦区域试验並在各地示范试种,1986年8月
Tongmai 6 is a new variety of disease-resistant and high-quality new wheat which was bred from 73-132 (two-rowed barley) × 72-20-14 (2) (two-rowed wheat). After F_1 hybrids were obtained in the summer of 1977, 68 F2 plants were selected for F_2 generation in 1978. In 1979, 114 F2 plants were picked from F_3 generation according to disease resistance, In 1980, 6 lines were selected from 114 lines. In 1981, three lines with the same maturity, high grain weight, pale skin color and good comprehensive characters were selected for reproduction.
