A method for the analysis of enantiomeric concentrations of N-methyl- (3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl) -2-propylamine and its metabolites in urine was established. The drug is chirally derivatized and separated on achiral GC stationary phase. The method was used to determine the concentration of each enantiomer in rat feces, the results show that the drug and its metabolites showed stereoselective metabolism.
