1 YANTAN HYDROPOWER PLANT APPROVAL OF THE DESIGN AND ADJUSTMENT 1.1 Overview of Yantan Hydropower Station Yantan Hydropower Station is located in Dahua County of Guangxi in the middle reaches of Hongshui River and extends 230km from Dahua County to Nanning Highway. The power station is mainly power generation with the combined benefits of shipping and other functions. The normal reservoir water level is 223m, the initial stage of dead water level is 204m, the total storage capacity is 3.34 billion m 3, and the effective storage capacity is 1.53 billion m 3.
