The economic globalization and the domestic and foreign economic background faced by China’s welded pipe industry are outlined. It is pointed out that we must understand the proposition of the welding pipe industry from the height of China’s steel industry strategic adjustment: The key to market competition and sustainable development lies in product structure adjustment and industrial restructuring.
