面向未来发展的高速计算机网络,必须具备可有效提供多种不同服务与支持多种不同应用的综合性需求,这对网络性能、集成服务支撑能力等方面提出了更高层次的要求。其中,拥塞控制已然成为高速计算机面向未来发展与实现高性能计算机网络设计当中的一个关键问题。对此,为了有效地跨越技术难题,满足用户越来越高的传输容量与服务品质需求,就需要针对性、有效性的进行拥塞控制系统设计,以减少拥塞的严重性并缩短其持续的时间。
