这里,现在依旧保留着闹市里的一隅清净。在江北盘溪,有这么一座古宅子经历过抗战那段动荡艰辛的岁月,在它耸立在盘溪山头的80多个年头中,秘密收藏过十余万册抗日时期的珍贵史料,办过中央美术大学及私立蜀都中学,这座古宅就是位于江北盘溪的“石家花园”。第一座重庆人自己的公园石家花园修建于1931年,它的主人是当时重庆非常有名望的袍哥掌旗大爷、商界巨贾、慈善家石荣廷。

The first Chongqing people’s own park Shijia Garden was built in 1931, its owner was Chongqing’s very prestigious Paodaiqi uncle, business giant, philanthropist Shi Rongting.
