“南京路上好八连”是写驻防在上海南京路上的一个连队的先进事迹的。这篇通讯发表在一九五九年七月二十三日解放日报第一版上。这个连队数年如一日,继承与发扬了人民解放军忠于祖国、忠于人民、克己奉公、艰苦朴素的光荣传统。战士拾到一分钱,立即交公;一个洗面盆,修修补补用了八年;一件衬衣补了三十八个补钉……。在这个先进的集体里,由于无产阶极思想的红旗举得高,即使是最微小的资产阶级思想影响,也像白玉上的黑斑一样,会引起每个人的警惕和注意。在党的无微不至的关怀和教育下,大家都成为真正的无产阶级战士。
“Good Eight in Nanjing” is the advanced deeds of a company stationed in Nanjing on the road to Shanghai. This newsletter was published on the first edition of the Liberation Daily on July 23, 1959. Over the years, this company has inherited and carried forward the glorious tradition of being loyal to the motherland, loyal to the people, self-serving and hard-working people’s Liberation Army. Soldiers picked up a penny, immediately pay the public; a wash basin, repair and use up eight years; a shirt made up thirty-eight fill ... ....
