引言视听说教学是外语教学中的主干课程。随着科学技术的不断发展,语言教学设备的日益更新,人类社会进入了以形象符号传播信息的时代。在课堂上,学生被强制性地要求去“读”形象符号,尽管他们只不过有一点视觉经验,并不具有视觉能力,也就是说没有“读”形象符号的技能。没有文字运用能力的人,是不会看书,写文章的,同样地,没有视觉文化知识的人,自然难以理解形象符号表达的信息。在今天这个充满形象信息的社会环 Introduction Audio-visual teaching is the main course in foreign language teaching.
