由中国人民大学何瑜教授主编的《清代三山五园史事编年》一书,现已由中国大百科全书出版社出版,该书分上下两册,共计116万字,可谓长编巨制。该书的出版,是一件泽惠学界的事情。翻阅该书,笔者认为至少有以下五个方面值得充分肯定:第一,学术价值高。众所周知,北京是具有数百年建都史的古城,特别是明清两代,历经28帝、500余年的经营,不但具有整齐划一的城市格局,建有规模宏大的宫殿建筑群,而且开辟了为 The book entitled “Chronology of Five Dynasties and Five Chronicles of Qing Dynasty”, edited by Professor He Yu of Renmin University of China, has been published by Encyclopedia of China Publishing House. The book is divided into two volumes, totaling 1.16 million characters, which can be described as a compilation of long series. The publication of the book is a case of Zehui scholarship. Read the book, I believe that at least the following five aspects deserve full recognition: First, the high academic value. As we all know, Beijing is an ancient city with hundreds of years of capitalist history, especially the Ming and Qing dynasties. After 28 dynasties and 500 years of operation, Beijing not only has a neat and uniform urban structure, but also has a large-scale palace complex and has opened up for
