有人曾写过我的艺术生涯,取名《牡丹传奇》。我的一生,“传”是可以传的,“奇”却并不奇。如果硬要说有什么奇的话,大概是我蹒跚走过的艺术道路艰苦而曲折,与一般艺术家走过的路略有不同。正如一位熟悉而尊敬我的中年作家说的那样:“陈伯华度过了艰辛苦涩的童年,奋勇搏击的少年,苦闷彷徨的青年,欢乐成功的中年,生活在高风亮节的晚年。”当然,“高风亮节”是对我的过誉之词;我只能说,我的晚年对党和人民,对自己,都是问心无愧的。我也曾坦率告诉过大家:“我希望你们将我的艺术与生活真实地公布于世。不要因为我小有名气,就讳言我的缺点,夸大我的成就;也不要迎合社会上某些人的好奇心,去搜寻什么秘史艳闻。我一生追求的是艺术上的真善美,即使在逆境中,我心中的艺术之火也从未泯灭。”这是我的肺腑之言。现在,我正是恪守这一宗旨,毫无矫饰地写下我的自传,也许人们可以从中悟出某些人生和艺术的真谛。
Someone once wrote my art career, named “Peony Legend.” My life, “pass ” can be passed, “odd ” is not unusual. If you insist on saying anything, perhaps the art road that I hobbled through was a difficult and tortuous one, which differed from the way the average artist went. As one middle-aged author familiar with and respectful said: “Chen Bohua spent a bitter and painstaking childhood, courageously fighting young, depraved youth, joy and success in middle age, living in high age.” Of course, “high ethos” is a word of honor to me; I can only say that my old age is conscientious about the party and the people and myself. I have also told you frankly: “I hope that you will truly publish my art and life in the world. Do not deny my shortcomings because of my infamy, exaggerate my accomplishments; do not cater to certain social People’s curiosity, to search what the secret history of Yan Yan. My pursuit of life is the art of beauty, even in the face of adversity, the fire of art in my heart never gone. ”" This is my heart’s words. Right now, I abide by this principle and write my autobiography without any pretense. Perhaps one can realize the true meaning of certain life and art.
