我校八四届高三(3)班绝大部分学生来自农村,他们在初中阶段基本上只学完初中英语第三册。进入高中以后,三年中补学了初中的内容,又完成了高中阶段的英语学习任务。在八四年高考中,全班英语平均成绩为84.53分。一个英语基础很差的班级为什么能取得这样的学习成绩呢?下面谈谈我在教学中的一些做法和体会。治疗“聋(口亚)症”,突破语音关新生入学以后,我对他们的英语基础作了摸底调查,发现大部分学生对学过的单词、句子读不准或不会读,对一般课堂用语听不懂,说不出,患有不同程度的“聋哑症”;有的甚至连英语字母、国际音标、汉语拼音字母也区分不清。针对这种情况,我决定从语音教学入手,讲解国际音
