一位女士上街购物，把4岁的孩子单独留在家中，返回时，这位女士在住宅楼附近碰到熟人，就停下来说话。突然，她发现12楼自己家的窗子开着，孩子爬到窗台上正向妈妈招手。她来不及惊叫，孩子已经失足掉了下来。她丢下手中的东西，不顾一切地向孩子狂奔，当时她穿的是筒状裙子和高跟鞋。就在孩子快落地的一瞬间，她接住了孩子。事后，人们做过多次模似实验：从12楼窗口扔下一个枕头，让最优秀的消防员从相同距离飞身来救，试了很多次，消防队员始终差得很远。
A lady went shopping and left her 4-year-old alone at home. At the time of her return, the lady stopped talking when she met an acquaintance near the residential building. Suddenly, she found her own home on the 12th floor windows open, the children climbed to the window sill to the mother waving. She had no time to scream, the child has lost out.
