在首届中国设计大展及其相关的学术论坛中,来自全国各地各个设计领域的专家学者纷纷展示各自的设计作品及学术研究。而作为关注中国设计的批评家和研究者,冷静地观察并思考大展所留下的点滴,似乎是更具责任性的一件事情。在一些评论家那里,此次大展标志着中国设计主体性的崛起。而笔者在观察和思考之后,认为这只是中国设计在自觉过程中对自我身份认同的寻找,而本次大展所展现的“繁华”正是这种身份认同危机所带出的价值混乱。
In the first China Design Exhibition and its related academic forums, experts and scholars from all fields of design all over the country displayed their own design works and academic researches one after another. And as critics and researchers concerned with Chinese design, it seems a more responsible thing to calmly observe and reflect on the bit left by the exhibition. In some critics, this exhibition marks the rise of China’s design subjectivity. However, after observing and thinking, the author thinks that this is only the search for self-identity of Chinese design in the process of self-consciousness, and the “prosperity” presented by this exhibition is exactly the value chaos brought by this identity crisis .
