《第三种读书》是敦煌文艺出版社出版的“读书小品丛书” 中的一种,作者董鼎山是纽约文化协会理事,纽约市立大学图书馆研究室教授。本书选收了作者对文学、电影、社会、政治诸方面的关心的文章。其中多半文章是作者读书后的杂感杂记,并融入了作者在美国长期生活的感受。董鼎山在该书后记中谈到,他青年时的写作以散文、诗、小说开始。上了年纪后深感时间的短促,便把写作的兴趣转移到书评及作家杂论方面。 “The third reading” is one of Dunhuang Literature and Art Publishing House published “Reading Series” Dong Dingshan is the New York Cultural Association, New York City University Library Research Professor.
