森林资源瑞典的国土面积1.11亿英亩,森林面积为5800万英亩,占国土总面积的57%。按权属来分,26%的林地为公有林,而私有林占到了全国森林总面积的74%。在公有林中,大部分为国家所有,即由瑞典联邦林务局经营,这部分森林占全国森林面积的19%,其它公有林(如教堂所有)占全国森林面积的7%。国有林主要分布在瑞典北部靠近北极圈的地区,在那里,林地的生产力不高。
Forest Resources Sweden has a total land area of 111 million acres and a forest area of 58 million acres, accounting for 57% of the total land area. By ownership, 26% of the forestland is public-owned, while private-owned forests account for 74% of the total forest area in the country. Most of the public-owned forests are owned by the state, which is run by the Swedish Federal Forest Service, which accounts for 19% of the national forest area and other public forests (as the church) account for 7% of the national forest area. State-owned forests are mainly distributed in the northern part of Sweden close to the Arctic Circle, where the productivity of woodlands is not high.
