This article introduces the application value of flotation column and its possibility of replacing traditional flotation machine in roughing and selecting operations. Comparison of process indicators showed that the flotation column can obtain higher quality concentrate, and the recovery rate of useful components is high. The influence of the residence time of mineral particles in the flotation column on the process indexes was studied.
