在中国人民革命军事博物馆里陈列着这样一面战旗:旗上有一只白色的北极熊,英文标着美军第7师步兵第31团。这面战旗,诞生在第一次世界大战的西伯利亚战场;第二次世界大战中,这面战旗曾随31团转战于西南太平洋战场。这面战旗记载着31团的荣誉与骄傲。然而,朝鲜战争爆发后,这面战旗终于在中国人民志愿军面前无可奈何地败落了。如今只能作为美军“王牌团”的耻辱,供世人参观。
In the Chinese People’s Revolutionary Military Museum displays such a war banner: there is a white polar bear flag, English marked the 7th Division of the American Infantry Regiment 31 regiment. This war banner, was born in the battlefield of World War I in Siberia; World War II, the war banner with the 31 regiment fought in the Southwest Pacific battlefield. This face-lift flag records the honor and pride of the 31st regiment. However, after the outbreak of the Korean War, this banner was finally unsuccessfully defeated by the Chinese People’s Volunteers Army. Today, it can only serve as a shame for the United States Army “ace group” for the world to visit.
