面对日益国际化的今天,社会要求培养出的学生既要有专业知识,又能精通外语的实用型人才。新的形势对大学生素质提出了更高的要求,也对我国的大学外语教学提出了新的挑战,大学英语新课程标准要求教师改变传统的教学模式,大学英语教学不仅仅是把英语语言知识传授给学生,而且还需要培养学生运用知识的技能,将学生的潜在能力、创造力发挥出来,从而提高其自主学习能力。
In the face of the increasingly internationalized society, students who are required by the society to cultivate have both professional knowledge and practical talents proficient in foreign languages. The new situation puts forward higher requirements on the quality of college students and also poses new challenges to our university’s foreign language teaching. The new college English curriculum standard requires teachers to change the traditional teaching mode.
