树石盆景《戈壁生机》,原名《老骥伏枥》,创作于1996年。用一株圆柏,几块千层石,在大理石水盆中构图。1997年,浙江省盆景研究会在杭州举行第二届盆景评比展览,我送展了该作品。因为它既不像树桩盆景,又不像水山盆景,结果落选了。省评落选回来,该作品一直放在自己的盆景园里。两年过去了,该作品植物长势良好,依石而生的柏树蓬勃劲发。盆中的好几块千层石,我经常去摆弄它。特别是右边的两块小尾石很像小马,几个山石,竟成为一群“马邦”,很有灵性。依石而生的柏树,几乎也有了 Tree bonsai “Gobi vitality”, formerly known as “old Jibu stable,” created in 1996.
