青披是藏族养路工人。解放前,很小就帮人放牛,以后作马夫、当长工,在旧社会里过了二十三年的奴隶生活,受尽了剥削和压迫,他和所有的农奴一样,解放后才得到了翻身。1951年他参加了康藏(即现在的川藏公路,当时有小部份已修成)公路的养护工作,在气候寒冷、空气稀薄、人烟稀少、生活艰苦的川藏高原上,他以革命的精种和坚强的意志,战胜了各种困难,出色地完成了党和人民交给他的光荣而艰巨的任务。十多年来,他多次被评为劳动模范和先进生产者,曾经两次出席全国的“先进生产者代表大会”,光荣地加入了中国共产党。1960年被提拔为甘孜养路段的驻班干部。 Green Phi is a Tibetan road maintenance workers.
