According to Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan’s economic exports are expected to increase by 8.21% in 1994 and industrial output is expected to increase by 4.52%. There are eight major goals in adjusting the economic and trade system. These objectives are: 1. Adjusting the economic and trade structure to meet the requirements of the GATT; 2.
